We are thrilled to present Chieko Kogure exhibition “DIARY OF COLORS AND SHAPES”. Chieko Kogure is an artist and an illustrator for books and magazines. Her solo show will focus on her paintings, a technique she has recently started to explore but some of her video works will also be present. Through shapes and colors, we invite you to discover the vitality and the daily sceneries of Chieko Kogure. The artist will be present everyday during the exhibition and using the gallery walls as her diary, she will create works in situ to complete her installation. We are looking forward to welcome you for this occasion!
コグレチエコによる3日間限定の個展「いろかたち日記」を開催します。コグレチエコはイラストレーターとして雑誌、書籍等のアートワークを手掛けながら、近年は、ペインティングの創作し、展覧会を開いています。 本展では、コグレチエコが日々感じ取ったあらゆるものの生命力や存在感を形や色を通して表現したペインティングと映像作品を発表します。 また会期中、会場では毎日日記を記すように小作品を制作して追加する試みを行います。この機会にぜひご高覧ください。
About the artist:
Chieko Kogure Graduated from the film and media section of Musashino Art University. She works as a professional illustrator for books and magazines while pursuing her work as an artist. She has recently started to produce paintings. Her solo exhibitions include: “kaoniwa”, creative ooo (Kyoto), which took place last May. Her most recent solo show “Tone” is showcased from July 3rd to 18th at Tokyo Meets by NADiff at Shibuya PARCO.
コグレチエコ 武蔵野美術大学映像学科卒業。イラストレーターとして書籍や雑誌等で活動しながら、ペインティングをはじめとする多岐にわたった創作活動を実践。近年は多数の個展を開催。今年5月には京都のcreative oooにて個展「kaoniwa」を開催。そして2021年7月3日～7月18日には東京Meets by NADiff | 渋谷PARCO にて個展「TONE」を開催。 現在東京を拠点に活動。
